Information and Communication technologies: UNLuis Cevasco y Juan Gustavo Corvalán
In line with the tasks of research, analysis and production of quality legal technical documentation carried out by the Attorney’s General Office of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, undertaken with the aim of providing citizens with relevant and useful material for dissemination and better knowledge of the legal treatment of several subjects, we present this digital booklet.
The objective of this work is to systematize the documents connected with information and communications technology (ICT) issued by the United Nations Organization (UN). On the basis of segmenting different aspects of this thematic area by title and subtitle, we have selected and systematized the relevant paragraphs of the analyzed documents, which can be accessed by clicking on each specific subtitle.
In order to carry out this systematization, the following material has been analyzed: UN resolutions of the General Assembly, Economic and Social Council and Security Council, documents of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the International Telecomunication Union (ITU). This digital booklet outlines and synthesizes documentation pertaining certain issues which new information and communications technology poses on public administration together with the challenge and opportunities it represents for States. The version of this digital booklet is intended to be enriched and further developed. We hope legal practitioners find this format useful to get acquainted with these issues in a simple and systematized way. We continue working on other topics so as to provide the involved community with a useful tool of simple access to documents of great relevance.IR AL COMPENDIO
